Overview

Job Title: Project Manager - Flagship £88m Education Project (Norwich)

About the Role

We are working in partnership with a leading global Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager for one of their flagship UK Projects in Norwich. This is an £88m project comprising multiple phases, including:

• Full strip-out and refurbishment works
• New build construction
• Extensions to existing buildings

All works are being delivered within a live education facility, requiring exceptional planning, coordination, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of a large-scale, complex project from start to completion.
• Oversee and coordinate multi-disciplinary construction teams on-site.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality standards across all phases of work.
• Maintain strong client, stakeholder, and supply chain relationships.
• Drive excellence in project delivery while working within the constraints of a live environment.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex construction projects with Tier 1 contractors.
• Experience working in live environments, ideally within the education or public sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to maintain control of programme, cost, and quality.
