Summary

As a Project Manager - Building Safety, you will play a critical role in delivering fire safety remediation works across our existing homes. Working within the Building Safety Remediation team, you will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and futureproofed.

You'll be responsible for developing due diligence files, understanding building construction and materials, and leading the appointment and management of consultants and contractors. Through effective project, risk and stakeholder management, you will ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on resident experience.

How you'll do it
  • Project manage fire safety remediation projects from inception through to completion.
  • Develop due diligence files, undertake visual inspections and support building risk assessments.
  • Prepare capital budgets, revenue forecasts, cashflow forecasts and works programmes.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks through comprehensive project risk registers.
  • Monitor works against agreed plans and KPIs, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Build robust business cases for remediation projects in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Develop strategies for the decant or relocation of residents, leaseholders and commercial tenants where required.
  • Lead resident engagement and communications plans, ensuring clear, timely and compassionate communication.
  • Work with Procurement to appoint consultants and contractors in line with governance procedures.
  • Prepare and present management reports including financial appraisals, approval papers, progress and cost reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all Notting Hill Genesis policies, statutory requirements, health and safety and financial regulations.

Essential
  • A project management related qualification.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and risk management.
  • Experience managing construction or remediation projects in a regulated environment.

  • Intermediate IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using Pamwin or similar financial appraisal tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage residents and stakeholders effectively.
