Overview

Fire Remediation Project Required in London

GVR Solutions are currently working with a highly regarded internal glazing and fire protection contractor based in London. They are seeking an experienced Fire Remediation Project Manager to lead and oversee internal fire safety remediation projects across London. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation, building regulations, and client requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage fire remediation and cladding replacement projects from start to finish.
  • Oversee contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure full compliance with fire safety standards, building control, and government guidelines.
  • Prepare and monitor project programmes, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate with residents, housing associations, local authorities, and external partners.
  • Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
  • Manage health, safety, and quality assurance across all project activities.
  • Promote a culture of uncompromising safety and continuous improvement.
  • Undertake 12 hours of CPD per annum and maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience managing fire remediation projects including firestopping and fire door works.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM and BSA compliance.
  • Experience working in HRBs as Principal Contractor.
  • Fire Safety Awareness
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of fire safety systems, construction sequencing and risk mitigation.
  • Able to manage challenging situations and maintain project momentum.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • SMSTS & CSCS
