I am currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage public sector refurbishment projects across East Yorkshire. This role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis.

You will be responsible for delivering refurbishment works safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage public sector refurbishment projects from inception to completion
  • Control project programmes, budgets, and risk registers
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and supply chains
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and CDM regulations
  • Monitor quality, progress, and performance on site
  • Prepare reports and attend client and stakeholder meetings
  • Ensure adherence to public sector governance and procurement processes
About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering refurbishment works
  • Previous experience within the public sector
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and contract management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple live projects
