Project Manager

We are hiring for a Project Manager who will lead a technology development team delivering innovative new camera and spectroscopy solutions to the academic research community. As a key leader within the Engineering Department, the project manager will work alongside technical leads in Belfast, Zurich and Toronto to ensure quality, feature and performance differentiation and optimal time to market of scientific solutions, including physical products and software releases being developed at Andor.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a technology development team delivering innovative camera and spectroscopy solutions for the academic research community.
  • Collaborate with technical leads across Belfast, Zurich and Toronto to ensure quality, feature differentiation, and timely delivery of products and software releases.
  • Manage all stages of project management including requirement gathering and creating detailed project plans.
  • Contribute to developing best practices and processes within the team.
Qualifications
  • 3rd level qualification in a technical or business-related field or equivalent experience
  • 6 years of hands-on engineering experience OR 4 years of project management experience
  • Experience in management or supervision of teams
  • Demonstrable experience in presenting complex ideas to senior management
  • Experience with all stages of project management including requirement gathering and detailed project planning
  • Evidence of contribution to developing best practice and processes
