We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Project Environmental Engineer or Geologist specializing in environmental site assessment, contaminated site remediation, and regulatory compliance to join our Bedford, NH office. The candidate will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting consulting projects throughout New England and beyond. Essential Functions - What You Will Do

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical capabilities and a commitment to environmental stewardship. Core responsibilities include:

  • Perform field investigations for environmental and hydrogeologic projects, including comprehensive soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling.
  • Analyze and interpret complex field and laboratory data using advanced analytical methods.
  • Assist project teams in developing recommendations for environmental strategies, remedial alternatives, and remediation designs.
  • Prepare technical reports, regulatory compliance documentation, permit applications, and cost estimates.
  • Formulate preliminary conclusions, recommendations, and strategies to address environmental site issues.

Physical Requirements
  • Requires sitting, walking and, at times, bending and prolonged standing.
  • Must be able to visit project sites and use heavy field equipment, power tools, and ladders as required.
  • The work requires both indoor and outdoor activity in temperatures ranging from moderate to extreme cold or hot and other weather conditions.
  • Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment as required.
  • Substantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers is required.
  • Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer monitor, and extensive reading.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
