JOB- Project Engineer

LOCATION- Warrington

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000 (Dependant on experience)

My client is a manufacturer in the Industrial and Manufacturing sector. They are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Warrington on a permanent basis.

This is a hands‑on Project Engineer role supporting the Director on complex, industrial projects — ideal for someone 3+ years into their career who enjoys ownership, structure, and working in a manufacturing‑led environment.

Attributes
  • HND/ Degree qualified in Engineering / Project Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 or more years' experience in Project Engineering from working in a similar role or environment
  • Experienced working in a highly regulated industry
  • Proficient with using MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
  • Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
  • Able to work well alone as well as in a team
Responsibilities
  • As a hands‑on Project Engineer you will be taking designs and implementing them
  • Technical assessment, analysis and review of full lifecycle projects
  • Managing multiple projects at once
  • Managing budgets, timelines and documentation
  • Scheduling, cost and quality control
  • Line managing direct reports
  • Communicating with customers to ensure specifications are met
  • Supporting the Director
  • Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
  • Preparing the required project related documentation & drawings
