A leading pharmaceutical company in Fawdon, Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced Project Engineer. This role involves developing project plans, preparing Capex estimates, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing installations. Candidates should have a minimum HND in Engineering and demonstrated project management experience. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team to develop detailed project plans detailing the design, procurement, installation and commissioning phases of projects. Help prepare high level Capex estimates and timelines and develop detailed Capex costings for any speculative RFQ's. You will also prepare an Engineering Project Charter for each project. You will also be responsible for quality, maintain an awareness of cGMP within the Pharma industry and ensure that best practice is applied to process engineering designs, manage plant changes and ensure that department change controls and Deviations are closed out in an appropriate and timely fashion. As well as taking responsibility for EHS to ensure that suitably vetted contractors are employed on site as part of project delivery and that installations comply with ATEX directives where applicable, and that we are compliant with PSSR regulations and with CDM regulations for design and commissioning.
