The role
As a Project Cost Capability Lead, you’ll step into a role that’s anything but ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to shape a newly created position within a refreshed organisational structure, taking a leading role in driving delivery excellence.
You’ll be part of Babcock Mission Systems, a specialist division delivering advanced engineering and technology solutions that support the UK’s defence capability—from naval platforms to secure communications. It’s a collaborative, fast-paced environment where innovation meets purpose, and where your expertise will help shape the future of national security.
Day-to-day, you’ll work with the other Discipline Leads to ensure best practice approaches, governance and techniques, in line with Group policies, are embedded as part of our local operating models and project delivery lifecycle – focusing on instilling strong foundations and forward looking, proactive approaches to delivery.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with up to 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Project Cost Capability Lead:
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, the successful candidate will be able to start on Standard (BPPS) security clearance but will need to obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance once in post.
