A leading university in Portsmouth is seeking a project support role focused on the Modern Work Programme. The individual will assist in managing project deliverables under the guidance of the Programme Manager, ensure proper documentation, and contribute to reporting for senior management. The role offers hybrid working options and is a full-time fixed-term position for 18 months, with an anticipated start date of March 2026.
To effectively support the Modern Work Programme Manager and the team involved in the Modern Work Programme in the provision of a university wide Modern Work (Microsoft 365) programme, including delivery of new technologies and other systems, new software developments, and business processes. The post holder will be responsible for managing small one-off project deliverables and provide assistance on more complex/larger areas of the project under the supervision and guidance of the Programme Manager and ensure that the programme will have the appropriate and up to date documentation and progress reporting. The role will contribute to producing reports to senior management and governors.
The working pattern for these posts is full time; however, we may be able to consider offering a minimum of 30 hours per week and compressed hours may be an option for these posts. Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held week commencing 26 January 2026.
These appointments are a fixed-term contract for 18 months with an anticipated start date of March 2026.
