Overview

Our client is seeking a Project Controls Engineer / Project Controller to join their team and support the delivery of a high volume of enhancement projects.

Working in a small PMO team, you will contribute to maintaining effective reporting, governance, project controls, and delivery support across a portfolio of lower-value but fast-moving projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of core project controls processes, providing accurate and timely data to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain project schedules, cost trackers, risk logs, and reporting packs
• Support monthly reporting cycles, governance forums, and progress reviews
• Work closely with Project Managers to gather updates and validate project information
• Ensure data consistency and quality across all project controls tools and documentation
• Assist in embedding standard processes and templates within the PMO

Job Requirements

• Experience in project controls or PMO support, ideally within infrastructure or related sectors (airports, rail, highways etc)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple smaller tasks at pace
• Eager to develop and grow as the PMO matures
