This could not be a more exciting time to lead within the St Mark's family. Applications are invited for a non-teaching Progress Leader (HOY) and Transition Coordinator. This is a pivotal role within the pastoral structure of the academy, serving as the transition champion for students moving from Year 6 to Year 7. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced pastoral specialist wishing to develop their career within an outstanding academy, to make a transformational difference to the lives of our young people.

You will be an empathetic, engaging, inspiring and positive leader who will embody the Academy’s values of Love, Hope and Trust and will support our young people and their families to ensure they are able to reach their God-given potential. The candidate will have experience of building strong relationships with parents and external stakeholders and be adept in identifying and implementing support strategies where needed.

As the Year 7 Progress Leader will lead a group of Coaches (Form Tutors) to deliver the enrichment and Personal Development programme, including our faith and CEIAG strategy. You will also deliver Progress Leader assemblies and oversee detentions, on a weekly basis.
