Job description

The Traverse Theatre is currently looking for an experienced and pro‑active Programme & Producing Manager to lead our team in the planning and delivery approach to our programme and artistic activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead on all the planning activity for the Programme and Producing department, ensuring robust and achievable plans are prepared that assess and manage risk.
  • To develop and deliver programme planning and delivery processes for the organisation that have ‘buy‑in’ across teams to ensure projects and programmes are planned and delivered to a high standard and that resources are deployed efficiently and within capacity.
  • To work closely with Programme and Producing Team and the Head of Production in the planning and delivery of activities that meet objectives within available capacity.
  • To support the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer with the reporting requirements of the organisation, including but not limited to Creative Scotland.
  • To develop and deliver evaluation processes for the organisation that have ‘buy‑in’ across teams to ensure projects and programmes are appropriately evaluated in order to meet reporting requirements, but also to inform improvements.
