Palace Yard is a cross‑party think tank that brings together parliamentarians, policymakers, industry and academics to improve understanding of complex and far‑reaching policy issues. Its work supports informed decision‑making across Westminster by translating specialist topics into clear actionable insight. Palace Yard also manages All‑Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) and provides political insight to help stakeholders navigate Westminster.
Founded and led by The Rt Hon Natascha Engel, former MP and Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons, Palace Yard has built a strong reputation for trusted, balanced and expert‑led policy engagement. Its programmes cover areas such as energy technology and infrastructure, connecting those shaping policy with those delivering it.
The Programme Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of Palace Yard’s energy‑focused programmes, managing projects from conception to completion and ensuring that events, policy outputs and stakeholder engagement are of the highest quality. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and influence, balancing strategic planning with hands‑on delivery. The role will suit an experienced project or programme manager with strong political awareness, excellent networking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving policy environment.
