Role: Programme Leader-Industry Skills (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Hours: 35

Salary: £47,397 - £49,026

Location: Stockport Campus

Employer Pension Contribution: 28.8% (£13,593.45 - £14,060.65 per year)

The Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Programme Leader for Industry Skills to lead the delivery and development of adult-focused programmes designed to meet the evolving needs of employers and communities across Greater Manchester. This fixed-term, 12-month role will be responsible for the management and delivery of a broad portfolio of adult learning provision, including Professional Development, Digital Skills, Counselling, and programmes designed to support adults into employment through various models and funding streams. You will line manage delivery staff, oversee programme quality and compliance, and work closely with employers and partners to ensure training is responsive, inclusive, and aligned to real job opportunities.

Experience within adult education is essential, with a proven track record in delivering and managing industry-focused or employability-driven programmes. You will bring strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, along with a clear understanding of the adult skills landscape. A teaching or assessor qualification is essential.
