Professional Services Engineer

This role combines product expertise with strong customer relationship skills to ensure successful implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Egress solutions. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the Egress product portfolio, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work closely with customers to maximize the value of their purchased solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and security awareness practices.
  • Implement and configure Egress solutions for small to mid‑sized business customers post‑purchase.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Record and track customer deployment activities.
  • Support Senior Professional Services colleagues and mentor junior team members as needed.
  • Adhere to and promote security awareness practices in accordance with ISMS procedures.
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure customers receive value from their purchased solution(s).
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve the majority of technical issues, seeking assistance from senior colleagues for more complex problems.
  • Complete all policy requests received from customers or when supporting other team members.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT Security Field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar or related position.
  • Two‑year degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with firewall and email protocols is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and result‑oriented.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Can demonstrate technical troubleshooting and analysis ability.
  • Can demonstrate integrity, accountability, respect, and commitment.
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
