About the role

As part of the Professional Services Team, reporting to the Consulting Manager, you will be working alongside a team of Technical Consultants and Project Managers to help a range of non‑profit organisations transform their business through the implementation of new Blackbaud software, or the optimisation of existing Blackbaud solutions.

You will act as the client‑facing Blackbaud representative and fundraising subject matter expert throughout the client relationship lifecycle; identifying and researching business needs and determining solutions to business problems. Staff Consultants understand business workflows, are innovative with problem‑solving and create optimised solutions for our customers.

What you’ll do
  • Delivering client facing workshops for customers with new, or existing Blackbaud software
  • Gathering and analysing information and using it to develop effective solutions to problems; devising workable solutions; raising risks and implementing fixes
  • Investigating and anticipating customers’ current and future needs
  • Mediating to reach agreements where there is difference of opinion between stakeholders
  • Completing system design workshops; data mapping; supporting user acceptance testing (UAT); functionality testing; workflow design; best practice improvements; data health checks; data quality testing; data migrations (imports/exports); database configuration and supporting customers going through organisational change
What you'll bring
  • Experience working with CRM Solutions in the non‑profit sector or in a professional services setting
  • Problem‑solving and analytical skills, with experience handling varied tasks in parallel
  • Understanding of fundraising systems, workflows, best practices and how they enhance fundraising activities with knowledge of some of the following programs – Major Giving, Prospect Research, Direct Marketing, Planned Giving, Events, and Volunteer Management
  • Experience with Blackbaud CRM Solutions including Raiser’s Edge NXT (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (preferred)
  • Track record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and deliver collaborative, innovative solutions
