Position: Claims Handler – Professional Indemnity Team

We are currently looking for a Claims Handler to join our professional indemnity team based out of our London office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess claims, working closely with policy holders, clients, brokers, legal professionals, third party administrators ("TPA’s") and other stakeholders to ensure fair and timely resolution.
  • Liaise closely with other insurers where Amtrust are either a follow line or lead insurer in a follow market and conduct thorough investigations into professional indemnity claims.
  • Gather relevant evidence, review policy terms and conditions and set strategy for resolution and reserves.
Qualifications
  • Solid claims experience, ideally with exposure to professional indemnity claims.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Good attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a role that offers both collaborative and independent working.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration and client engagement capabilities.
