Overview

Scotland / hybrid 2 days per month office-based. Permanent. Life insurance expert opportunity with an award-winning financial services provider.

Are you a life insurance expert with significant knowledge of a range of products within that space?

This role offers the chance to join the team and play an instrumental part, supporting the Head of Actuarial Valuation by delivering detailed legacy products analysis and assisting with BAU activities.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Actuarial Valuation by delivering detailed legacy products analysis.
  • Assist with BAU activities related to actuarial valuation.
  • Engage in valuation, project and change activities as required.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contributing to ongoing actuarial work streams.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Qualified life actuary (FIA/FFA/APMI) or equivalent.
  • Significant knowledge of life insurance products and related actuarial methodologies.
  • Experience in valuation and/or project/change management.
  • Strong Solvency II reporting experience.
  • Experience in pensions risk transfer (PRT) or Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) is desirable.
