Job description
Overview

As a Team Leader, you will lead the production teams across your allocated shift pattern. The ideal candidate will achieve or exceed production performance KPIs across a balanced agenda whilst maintaining compliance to the relevant health and safety and quality procedures and policies. You will facilitate CI activity for the team within the site CI framework, as well as support with all team activities which will include interaction with scheduling, supply chain, NPD, Technical/QA functions and other production areas. Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the daily/weekly plan is delivered in full and in line with budget including labour usage and yield. Monitor and report on hourly, daily and shift performance.
  • Ensure all staff are suitably equipped and trained to perform in their role currently and for future needs of the business.
  • To ensure effective management of agency team members.
  • Ensure compliance to all Health and Safety, HR policies and quality procedures both internally and externally.
  • Performance manages the team including quarterly performance reviews, target setting and coaching where required.
  • Maintain good GMP of both area and plant liaising with Engineering/Snr technician where appropriate. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferential.
  • Knowledge of quality systems including HACCP and corrective and preventative actions.
  • Experience of managing teams with a headcount >10 including conducting investigations.
  • Knowledge and examples of application of Lean tools and techniques including problem solving.
  • Good level of mathematical capability and an understanding of yield and productivity measures.
  • Good communication skills and a desire to build cross functional relationships.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene protocols are followed.

Under the well-known Florette brand, our site processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat, fresh salad bags and bowls to some of the UK\'s most well-known supermarkets and retailers, as well as your favourite restaurants and fast food vendors. In total, we sell on average around 600,000kg of products every week. Agrial has operations across 18 regions, with 280 farming outlets and 5 divisions. All UK sites operate under the name of Agrial Fresh Produce Limited and fall under Agrial\'s vegetable division. Working hours: 4 days on, 4 days off. 7am - 7pm.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: £16.25 per hour. An hourly salary of £16.25, inclusion in our annual bonus scheme and a range of employee benefits you\'d expect from a market leading business, including:
