Production Team Leader (Twilight Shift), Poole, up to £35,000 per annum

About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in Poole, is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Team Leader to join their production team on a permanent twilight shift.

This is a key role where the successful candidate will lead and inspire a team of operators to produce high-quality products while meeting productivity and cost-efficiency targets.

Responsibilities

The Production Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Leading and motivating a team of flexible operators to produce high-quality products in line with agreed quality, productivity, and cost targets
  • Collaborating with managers to develop and implement SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) policies to ensure a safe and accident-free working environment
  • Ensuring that the plant operates at maximum efficiency, maintaining target cycle times, and ensuring the work area remains clean and safe at all times
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, product quality, productivity, and cost
  • Building positive relationships with the manufacturing teams to ensure excellent customer service
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience within the manufacturing sector and in leadership roles
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety policies
  • Excellent timekeeping skills
  • A commitment to quality and delivering exceptional customer service
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure
