Job Title: Production Team Lead

Location: Join us at our state-of-the-art facility in Hams Hall, Birmingham. We are looking for a driven and committed Production Team Lead to become part of our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role, working a day’s regular pattern.

What you will be doing:
  • Ensuring all team members work in line with EHS guidelines and company policies and reporting incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly and accurately
  • Delivering Safety Toolbox Talks and contributing to H&S improvement plans
  • Overseeing daily production plans and allocating resources effectively
  • Monitoring equipment and processes to maximise efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Preparing detailed shift reports and contributing to daily production reviews
  • Maintaining and reviewing skills matrixes to monitor team capability
  • Managing time and attendance records including absence queries
  • Providing regular feedback and input on team performance to the Production Lead
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure operational alignment
What you bring:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of Operations and LEAN principles
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • The ability to problem solve, and to identify issues quickly and implement solutions effectively
  • Understanding of Lean 6 Sigma, and 6s principles is desirable
