42.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 7:30pm - 6:00am, with a 30-minute unpaid break)

Salary

From £32,000 per annum

Role Purpose

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You\'ll lead the night shift team, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running and efficiency of the production area
• Ensure production schedules are followed, and customer requirements are met
• Maintain high standards of product quality and food safety
• Support and enforce compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, and RSPO standards
• Lead and support production operatives, ensuring documented processes are followed
• Identify and implement improvements to work methods and productivity
• Report and oversee maintenance issues and preventative maintenance
• Sign off departmental records and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain hygiene standards across the production area
• Ensure effective communication and handover between shifts

Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Use PPE and equipment correctly and responsibly
• Report hazards, unsafe practices, and incidents promptly
• Participate in risk assessments and safety initiatives
• Attend mandatory training and follow issued guidance
• Support a culture of continuous improvement in workplace safety

Requirements

Essential:

• Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively

Desirable:

• Experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing
