We are currently seeking a reliable Production Operator for our nightshift operations. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining our production processes during the night, ensuring that high-quality potato products are manufactured and packaged efficiently. Working hours from 8 PM to 4 AM, Sunday to Thursday, with a competitive pay rate of £12.21 per hour, plus additional allowances for night shift work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery during the night shift to ensure seamless production flow
• Adhere closely to safety and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment
• Inspect and verify the quality of finished products before packaging
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to ensure efficiency
• Document relevant production metrics and report any issues to the night shift supervisor
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely production and problem resolution
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills relevant to the role

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is preferable, particularly within the food industry
• Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards
• Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team environment
• Basic mechanical skills to perform maintenance on production equipment
