Overview

Production Operative – Immediate Start. Monday to Friday shifts for Stoney Stanton, LE9 4JJ. Apply online only.

Shifts: 16:00 – 01:00 Monday to Friday (unpaid 30-minute break).

Salary: £13.72 per hour, 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £20.58 per hour plus £20 shift bonus per shift. Perks include free on-site parking, provided PPE, and comprehensive training. Career development available via Manpower 'MyPath' online courses.

Note: This is an Operative role with significant manual handling required. Full training and support provided to ensure tasks are within capability.

Responsibilities

• Delivering targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate processes to meet production targets. Rotate on cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection activities as required by production leadership.
• Load and unload cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform any Cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the yard area.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence.
• Experience in production, manufacture, construction, or labouring is highly beneficial.
• Manual handling and movement of gas cylinders up to a maximum weight of 47 kg.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions; resilience is key.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict control and quality procedures.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and take direction from site leaders.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.
