Job summary

A leading medical equipment manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Production Operative to join their production team. Responsibilities include assembling medical devices, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a cleanroom environment. Candidates should have good manual dexterity and attention to detail, with previous manufacturing experience preferred. This is an in-person role requiring the use of full PPE.

Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading, innovative medical equipment manufacturer who are expanding their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation providing essential products that make a real difference to patients' lives every day.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly, inspection, and packaging of precision medical devices and components. Working within a clean, controlled environment, you will follow strict quality standards and operating procedures to ensure products meet regulatory compliance. This role operates over 2 shifts to keep production running throughout the day. One AM shift and one PM shift. Please be sure to be available for one of these is you apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly of medical equipment and components using hand tools and machinery
  • Quality inspection of completed units and materials
  • Accurate labelling, packaging, and completion of production documentation
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance with safety and manufacturing protocols
  • Working to daily production targets and supporting continuous improvement goals
  • Following training to achieve competency across multiple production tasks
About You
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
  • Good manual dexterity and comfort using tools or technical equipment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict hygiene rules

*Please note this role is an in person position and is within a cleanroom environment which means you will be required to wear full PPE whilst at work.*
