A growing food manufacturing company in Harrogate seeks a committed Production Operative to assist in producing up to 100,000 meals weekly. Responsibilities include loading machines, packing products, and ensuring quality standards. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus, but training is provided.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods.
  • Able to work at a fast pace to meet daily production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Load machines with raw ingredients.
  • Pack finished products.
  • Ensure proper product labeling.
  • Perform quality checks at all production stages.

We are looking for a Production Operative for a rapidly growing food manufacturing business, trading over multiple categories within the chilled & frozen fixtures supplying all major retailers.

In a relatively modest factory, we can produce up to 100,000 meals a week and we need reliable and committed individuals to join our diverse team!

Job Responsibilities
  • Loading machines with raw ingredients
  • Product assembly on the line
  • Packing of finished products
  • Quality checking at all stages of production
  • Ensuring correct product labelling
  • Working clean and tidy and in line with food hygiene standards
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
  • Previous experience of working in a food manufacturing environment is an advantage, however no experience is necessary, all training will be provided
  • Physically able to stand for long periods
  • Able to maintain strong attention to detail whilst continuously quality checking products
  • Looking for a long-term positionReliable and able to commit to the relevant shift pattern.
  • Able to work at a continual fast pace to ensure daily production targets are met
  • A positive and can-do attitude is a must within our team
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills. (Basic English language required)
