Production Operative – Oldham

Location: Oldham

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am- 4:00pm / Friday: 7:00am- 12:00pm

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Contract: Temp

We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join our client in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a stable role with long-term potential.

Role Overview:

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the efficient production of the products. You’ll be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks to ensure production runs smoothly and that all products meet our quality standards. Your contribution will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence in both product quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Stock Management: Ensure that stock levels are properly monitored, recorded, and replenished to avoid production delays.
  2. Product Inspections: Conduct regular inspections on incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet all quality standards.
  3. Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company health and safety procedures.
  4. Assembly: Assemble products based on detailed instructions, ensuring all parts and components are correctly fitted.
  5. Testing: Test products to ensure functionality and compliance with quality standards before they proceed to packaging.
  6. Labelling & Packaging: Accurately label and package products to prepare them for shipment, ensuring they are properly presented and protected.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience working within a production or warehouse environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  4. A keen eye for detail.
  5. Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
  6. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
