Overview

Linkster are recruiting on behalf of a client, an esteemed FMCG company located in Foston Dove Valley Park (DE65). They are seeking to fill a Production Operative position on a full-time and permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, cleaning, and operating bottling, filling, and labelling equipment while adhering to efficiency standards.
• Maintaining quality in accordance with Company standards, ensuring high levels of health, safety, and hygiene.
• Feed all line equipment with required materials.
• Monitoring stock levels and collaborating with the production supervision team to address any concerns that may arise.

Ideal candidate / Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in bottling line machinery.
• Previous experience operating filler and/or labelling equipment is desirable.
• Familiarity with shift work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Given the limited public transport options in the area, it is essential that candidates are able to commute to Foston for their scheduled shifts without any difficulties.

The Benefits

• Competitive salary package totalling £34,028 (comprising a basic salary of £28,757 p/a and a shift allowance of £5,271). After successful completion of 6-month probation the salary package will increase to circa £35,700.
