A growing manufacturing company in the Scottish Borders is seeking Production Operatives for a permanent role with progression opportunities. Responsibilities include operating machinery, feeding raw materials, and packing products while adhering to health and safety procedures. Candidates should have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and some machinery experience. Full on-site training will be provided, including forklift and health & safety training if needed.

Job description

Location: Jedburgh, Scottish Borders

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Hours: Full time (day shift initially, flexibility required)

Start date: Immediate

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing company for Production Operatives to join a small, friendly team at a modern production facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding company with scope for future development.

Duties include:

• Operating and assisting with production machinery
• Feeding raw materials into machines
• Packing finished products
• Moving materials and goods
• Following all health & safety procedures

Training provided:

• Full on-site machinery training
• Forklift and health & safety training if required

Desirable but not essential:

• Manufacturing experience
• Forklift licence
