K.A.G. Recruitment are partnering exclusively with our client, a well-established and reputable company with their continued growth and team development, to recruit a Production Manager to join their team at their site based in Wolverhampton.

Overview

Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, sick pay, wellbeing support and cycle to work scheme
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4pm / Friday 7.30am to 1pm

Responsibilities
  • Improve and champion health and safety standards throughout manufacturing.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure production output targets are met.
  • Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators to stakeholders.
  • Train and develop team members.
  • Drive quality improvements throughout the build process.
  • Collaborate with other departments for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce waste.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the business and with customers.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

You will have supervisory or managerial experience within a production or manufacturing environment, along with a background in low-volume manufacturing. You will have a strong IT literacy and the ability to work effectively to tight production deadlines. Knowledge of welding, mechanical assembly, or hydraulics would be advantageous. Ideally, you will also hold an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
