Overview

Are you a Production Manager? Have you held experience leading and supervising production teams within an engineering & manufacturing environment? Are you confident contributing to general production activities whilst setting a working example for shop-floor staff?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a global, leading manufacturer of safety equipment, is looking to hire a Production Manager on a permanent basis for their site in Woking!

Location: Woking • Status: Permanent • Salary: dependent on experience

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the production manager by leading staff, organising and monitoring workflow and ensuring daily/weekly/monthly targets are hit.
  • Resolving day to day issues and establishing processes to prevent future issues.
  • Maintaining quality standards of products and enforcing the organisation's standards.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to production activities supporting the team when required and leading by example.
  • Attending contract review meetings and leading team briefs and toolbox talks.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Experience leading shopfloor teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to carry out shopfloor duties when required.
  • Knowledge of metalwork/fabrication would be advantageous.
