Overview

Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join a home improvement manufacturer and supplier, based in Portsmouth.

£30k-£35k

40hrs per week - 8.30am-5pm

Our client caters to both homeowners and trade customers, and cover Hampshire, Surrey, London and across the South East!

Responsibilities

• Create clear daily, weekly monthly production schedules for the team to follow
• Overseeing manufacturing and production procedures
• Monitoring productivity rates
• Decide the materials and workforce needed to meet production deadlines
• Carry out all necessary machine checks and maintain paperwork
• Manage the team's time keeping, holiday entitlement, absenteeism, and appraisals, ensuring holidays taken are coordinated so that production is not affected

What you'll need

• Previous leadership experience in a factory/warehouse environment
• Thorough understanding of mechanical systems
• To motivate and support your team
• A background in windows would be an advantage but not essential
