Production Manager - Day Shift Only
Location: Ballymena
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - Day Shift Only

About the Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join a highly automated manufacturing environment. You will lead production operations across the site, ensuring efficiency, safety and quality while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production activity, including intake, processing and support services.
• Lead and mentor your team, promoting a positive and high-performance culture.
• Optimise plant performance through effective maintenance and equipment management.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality and health & safety standards.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently.
• Manage all aspects of people management, from performance to training and development.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve yield, reduce waste and increase productivity.

About You

• 3rd level qualification in a relevant field and 2+ years\' experience in a similar management role OR 3+ years\' proven experience in a related FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and inspire a team.
• Demonstrated success in developing lean culture and delivering process improvements.
• Solid technical knowledge and proven track record in food safety, quality and H&S compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
