Our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is looking for a motivated Lab Assistant to join their dynamic team in East Grinstead. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience and develop valuable skills within a world-class organisation.

  • Role: Lab Assistant
  • Contract Type: Temp to Perm
  • Working Pattern: Full Time
  • Location: East Grinstead
  • Pay Rate: £15.18 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)
  • Shifts: 06:30-18:30 (9.25 hours/day), including weekends
  • Overtime: Frequently available
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 12 months
What You70ll Be Doing
  • As a Lab Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing solutions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Setting up and monitoring production dispensing pumps to ensure timely, high-quality outputs
  • Carrying out compliance checks on laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Managing raw material stock levels and ensuring smooth lab workflow
  • Washing and autoclaving equipment to maintain high hygiene standards
  • Using software such as SAP ERP and Microsoft Office for data processing
