Production Executive (supply chain) - East Sussex (on-site) - up to £38,000

They are a B-Corp with rapid growth and an engaged community, who are looking for a production executive to support their operations team to drive product innovation and sustainability.

As a Production Executive, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth production and supply chain operations. You’ll oversee procurement, supplier relationships, production scheduling, and inventory management—while driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across our operations.

Overview

Responsible for coordinating procurement, supplier management, production planning, and inventory control to support on-time product delivery and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement activities, working closely with suppliers and co-packers to ensure OTIF deliveries
  • Own production schedule management, proactively identifying risks and keeping timelines on track
  • Maintain product documentation, certifications, and supplier records in line with compliance requirements
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, driving improvements in cost, quality, and efficiency
  • Operate within our ERP system for production planning, stock control, and purchase orders
  • Support supplier onboarding and contract negotiations across the globe
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with NPD, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless product launches and lifecycle management
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, contributing to process improvements and sustainability initiatives
In order to be successful
  • Experience in production, NPD, or supply chain
  • Experience using an ERP system and Excel
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (food or cosmetics ideal), with knowledge in compliance
  • A proactive attitude with great communication and relationship-building skills
