Production Engineer

Join a dynamic, innovative team at the heart of cutting‑edge chemical equipment manufacturing. We're looking for a hands‑on Production Engineer to drive efficiency, solve problems, and help deliver world‑class products to global markets.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to streamline production.
  • Lead engineering projects, troubleshoot equipment, and manage 3D‑printing capabilities.
  • Produce technical drawings and 3D CAD models for both standard and custom products.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing—to solve complex production challenges.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality, productivity, and profitability.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, ensure operational uptime, and support safety compliance.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in production engineering.
  • Strong hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Solid experience with SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality management processes.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solution‑focused with a drive for continuous improvement.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with scientific equipment or glassworking is a plus but not essential.
  • Current UK driving license and ability to visit suppliers occasionally.
