  • Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to resolving complex production challenges.
  • Clear and effective communicator across teams, including management, design, and production.
  • Ability to motivate and influence teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in writing and modifying CNC code to produce precision parts.
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines.
  • PC literate with a good grasp of MS Packages.

Production Engineer

Due to continued growth they're seeking to appoint a Production Engineer. The successful candidate will hold a pivotal position focused on improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role supports continuous improvement across production operations, with responsibilities spanning process development, cost reduction, tooling design, and staff training.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Improve production methods, equipment, and tooling to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards, document procedures, and ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
  • Identify risks, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with environmental and quality regulations.
  • Monitor performance, manage production plans, allocate tasks, and support achievement of output targets.
  • Investigate technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce material usage, waste, and inefficiencies while maintaining high quality.
  • Support the integration of new products into production, ensuring systems, tooling, documentation, and costings are in place.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to production staff to improve skills, productivity, and reduce waste.
