A rapidly expanding manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on Production Engineer to join their high‑performing team at their modern facility in Honiton.

The Role

The Production Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and optimising production equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key duties include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Driving process improvements and engineering projects across production lines.
  • Supporting new product introductions and ensuring technical standards are met.
  • Implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
  • Upholding strict Health & Safety and quality requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds an engineering background (mechanical or electrical bias).
  • Experience in food, pharma, or FMCG manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies would be beneficial.
