A leading broadcasting company is offering a full-time Production Apprenticeship in York for 13 months. This role provides hands-on experience in music production and radio, with responsibilities including listening to new music, script-writing, and assisting with live shows. BBC Introducing is a network of creatives, producers, presenters and music enthusiasts who discover and support emerging musical talent across the UK. Working here gives you a platform to showcase talent and potentially progress to national radio stations.
You’ll learn on and off the job, attending up to week‑long learning blocks with our learning provider to work towards an industry‑recognised Level 3 Production Assistant qualification. These blocks will combine in‑person and virtual delivery.
For candidates under 19 years old on 8th September 2026: you must have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 / C or above (or equivalent) before the start. If not, you will need to achieve a Functional Skills Level 2 by the end of the apprenticeship.
