Product Labelling & Compliance Technologist
  • Up to £35,000 pa , dependent on experience

We are looking for a Technologist to oversee food product specification, nutritional labelling and compliance documentation. Working with suppliers, customers, internal teams and international partners, you will ensure all food products meet legal requirements and are labelled accurately for global sale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage food product specifications and compliance documents
  • Produce nutritional calculations and develop accurate product labels and ingredient declarations
  • Ensure food products meet all required legal and customer food safety standards (UK and international)
  • Coordinate product testing and supplier certification approvalMaintain internal product data systems and ensure traceability compliance
  • Support investigation and management of product quality complaints
  • Keep informed of global food safety legislation and provide guidance internally
Key Skills
  • Previous experience in a food technical / compliance / QA role within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of nutritional labelling requirements
  • Knowledge of HACCP and experience working within a BRC business
  • High levels of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication and documentation abilities
  • Process-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Able to interpret regulations, standards and technical documentation
