Job description

At Statista we’re all about facts and data. We are the world’s leading business data platform. By providing reliable and easy‑to‑use data as well as various data analytics products and services we empower people worldwide to make fact‑based decisions.

Founded in Hamburg in 2007, we have quickly grown into a global company with offices in major cities such as London, New York, Berlin and Tokyo. Our constant growth not only proves our success but also keeps creating new development and career opportunities for our employees.

We value and celebrate our diverse culture. You are welcome here for who you are—no matter where you come from, what you look like, or whether you prefer bar graphs to pie charts. Your story matters; keep writing it as part of our team.

Your Job

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support both our core Platform business and our rapidly expanding Connect business. Connect brings Statista data directly into the tools where professionals work through APIs and integrations, including partnerships with AI platforms, enterprise software and creative tools (current partners include Perplexity, Langdock, Microsoft Copilot and Canva with more to come).

You’ll context‑switch between Connect partnership launches and Platform campaigns based on business priorities. One week you’re crafting technical messaging for developers, the next you’re creating sales enablement materials or executing demand‑gen campaigns. The team is small, the pace is fast, and you’ll take full ownership of your projects.

This role reports to the Global Head of Product Marketing and you’ll collaborate closely with our senior PMM who supports both Platform and Connect. You’ll work cross‑functionally with design, content marketing, product teams, sales and sales enablement.

You’ll thrive here if you: ship fast without constant direction, learn technical concepts quickly (APIs, RAG, MCP), write exceptionally well across formats, build strategy and execute it yourself, context‑switch without losing quality, and obsess over outcomes (SQLs, pipeline, revenue) not just outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end‑to‑end GTM execution for product launches, partnership activations and campaigns across Platform and Connect. Build launch plans, create assets, coordinate cross‑functional teams (product, design, content marketing, sales, partnerships) and drive adoption.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that translates technical capabilities (API, RAG, MCP) into compelling value propositions for enterprise buyers.
  • Create external sales enablement materials: pitch decks, one‑pagers, case studies, ICP materials, FAQs and integration guides.
  • Work with Sales Enablement on positioning and messaging. You’ll provide product information and client‑facing assets; Sales Enablement handles internal training and materials.
  • Execute demand‑gen campaigns with Growth Marketing & CRM, developing core messaging and positioning frameworks, copy recommendations, and driving qualified leads and pipeline.
  • Support GTM activities for partnership launches and develop co‑marketing strategies, create partner materials and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
  • Collaborate with design, content marketing and community teams on campaign assets: whitepapers, blog posts, videos, event messaging and thought leadership pieces.
  • Define use cases showing how customers leverage Statista data across industries, roles and technical environments.
  • Build repeatable processes and playbooks as you execute. Create the structure the team needs while shipping work.
Your Skills
  • 4 years in product marketing experience or related experience—ideally at a startup, scale‑up or high‑growth tech company.
  • Exceptional writing across all formats (this is non‑negotiable): sales materials, campaign copy, strategic narratives, technical documentation. Your writing must be clear, compelling and require minimal editing.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling messaging engaging both business and technical audiences.
  • A self‑starter who takes ownership without constant direction and thrives in fast‑paced environments.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making data‑driven decisions.
  • Exceptional ability to work across teams aligning marketing, sales and product to drive adoption and market success.
