What you’ll do

Lead the decommissioning of our legacy trading technology platform and oversee the migration of all Macro business functionality into the new platform.

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for the retirement of the legacy system and the migration to the new platform, ensuring minimal disruption to trading and downstream processes.
  • Partner with Trading, Risk, Operations, and technology teams to document current-state workflows and translate them into target-state designs in the new platform.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, milestones, and delivery plans aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with developers, QA, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient migration of functionality.
  • Identify potential risks to migration success, design mitigation strategies, and ensure robust testing and validation before decommissioning.
  • Drive user training, communication, and adoption strategies for the new platform.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for technical support, licensing adjustments, and migration best practices.
  • Ensure the new platform is fully optimized for current and future Macro trading needs.
What’s required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of product management experience in buy-side or sell-side financial technology, particularly with cross-asset trading systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with market‑leading trading and risk‑management platforms, such as Murex and Orchestrade, including design, configuration, and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Macro asset classes (Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities) front‑to‑back trade workflows.
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale migration or decommissioning projects in a trading environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication skills and an ability to bridge gaps between business and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
