Overview

As a Product Manager II – Search Form, you will join a high‑impact team responsible for one of the most critical components at Expedia Group. The Search Form powers approximately 40% of user sessions across homepages, search results, key landing pages, and product pages across all lines of business. It serves as the primary entry point into our search flow for all of our brands: Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and B2B partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of core search experiences, focusing on UI modernization, personalization and AI‑powered search. You will work closely with a Senior PM, owning your own projects supporting Brand and LOB‑specific capabilities and contributing to the definition and delivery of our modern search form vision.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Senior PM, UX and internal clients to refine the strategic vision for search entry.
  • Work closely with design, engineering and analytics to build and manage a product backlog that enhances the scalable, configurable capabilities of the search form system.
  • Shape product roadmap based on customer insights, data analysis, business demand and, critically, the inputs of internal consumers.
  • Design and execute AB testing strategies that maximise learnings.
  • Map customer journeys, document Jobs To Be Done, identify pain points and ideate solutions.
  • Communicate design decisions and technical requirements clearly across audiences.
  • Explore AI/ML opportunities and incorporate them into product requirements.
  • Use analytics tools to derive insights on product metrics and create compelling data visualizations for decision‑making.
  • Write detailed user stories and ensure backlog prioritization in Agile ceremonies.
  • Foster inclusivity, respect, and cross‑functional collaboration across teams.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years with a Bachelor’s degree OR 1–2 years with a Master’s degree in product management or related field.
  • Stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with UX design patterns and customer journey mapping.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing demands.
  • Business acumen and ability to create compelling business cases.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian products.
  • Agile practices and backlog management.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and data visualization.
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and data science principles.
