Job Role / Purpose
As a Product Manager at Lifelight, you’ll support the development and growth of our digital health products. You’ll spend much of your time helping to shape our consumer‑facing app, but you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of the product portfolio as priorities and projects evolve.
You’ll work closely with product, design, engineering, marketing, and clinical teams to build intuitive, engaging, and safe digital health experiences for consumers, empowering users to take control of their health through Lifelight.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development Support
- Assist in planning and delivering product features and app improvements for our product roadmap.
- Translate business needs and user insights into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Mobile App & Lifecycle Ownership
- Own features and improvements within the iOS and Android apps.
- Support end‑to‑end delivery from discovery through release and iteration.
- Work with engineering teams to manage scope, trade‑offs, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure a high‑quality, consistent user experience across platforms.
- App Store & Release Management
- Support app releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Prepare release notes, store content updates, and version updates.
- Monitor app performance indicators including ratings, reviews, downloads, and user feedback.
- Support international considerations such as localisation and regulatory compliance.
- User Research & Feedback
- Drive user research and feedback analysis to inform roadmap decisions and improve the user experience.
- Support the refinement of user journeys and usability across Lifelight’s products.
- Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor trends in consumer health apps, wearable integration, and behaviour change tools.
- Assist with benchmarking Lifelight against competitors across both B2C and B2B healthtech markets.
- Cross‑functional Coordination
- Work with engineering and research teams to help ensure features are delivered on time and meet user and compliance needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams on messaging, feature promotion, and go‑to‑market plans.
- Quality & Compliance
- Support testing and user acceptance processes to ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Assist with maintaining regulatory documentation and records that support software as a medical device compliance.

- Familiarity with product tooling such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma or similar.
- Experience working on consumer mobile apps.
- Exposure to app releases, versioning or app store processes.
- Experience using data, analytics, or user feedback to guide decisions.
- Basic knowledge of privacy and data protection (e.g. UK GDPR, consent, user trust).

- Experience with international products or multi‑market releases.
- Exposure to regulated or trust‑sensitive domains (health, finance, identity, payments).

Education and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a product, or related role in tech, healthtech, or consumer apps.
- Degree in Product Management, UX Design, Psychology, Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields – or equivalent experience.
- Backgrounds in consumer apps or digital products welcomed.
- Bonus: Exposure to apps in health, wellness, fitness, or digital therapeutics.
