Job description
Product Analyst

Location: Leeds, London, Dublin, Malta

Overview of the role

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our Betfair International team as part of Flutter International. You’ll be part of a team responsible for delivering insight and analysis to drive content and development of our exciting products across Sportsbook Exchange and Online Gaming for millions of customers worldwide.

You’ll report to the Senior Analytics Manager and work closely with the Senior Product Analyst within our wider Analytics team. Our mission is to continue bringing data to the forefront of decision-making on product changes, embedding our product optimisation strategy through a culture of A/B testing and experimentation. Our main stakeholders are the Product and Commercial teams across Betfair’s international markets including Brazil, Spain & Italy.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leverage web analytics data to identify customer pain points and recommend optimisation opportunities to customer journeys from registrations and deposits to betting experiences.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and create reporting dashboards to present actionable recommendations for the business following on-site experiments and A/B tests.
  • Champion our digital data as the go-to expert for web content analytics and insights. Advise Product teams on tagging and experiment setup to ensure performance can be accurately tracked.
  • Provide data‑driven ideas and support planning for product launches and site content changes from scoping the concept through to implementation and delivery.
  • Educate our stakeholders who act on your insights; you’ll be the expert in the data but teach them to utilise self‑serve data and dashboards to foster a data‑informed culture.
What you’ll bring
  • At least 1 year working experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • At least 1 year working experience with Looker or equivalent BI and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
  • At least 1 year working experience with Google Analytics data or digital equivalent.
  • Experience in tools such as Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Quantum Metric or Clarity is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in CRO and A/B testing platforms is desirable but not essential.
  • An interest or background in online sports and casino betting is desirable but not essential.
