You will support the Head of Procurement in maintaining high standards and compliance with public procurement legislation. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience in managing procurement processes. This role involves leading tender processes, managing contracts, and providing professional advice on procurement matters.
To support the Head of Procurement in delivering a high-quality and effective procurement function for the organisation. The post holder will manage the end-to-end procurement process, from tender preparation and supplier selection to contract award, management, and review, ensuring compliance with Trust Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs) and public procurement legislation.
The role includes maintaining the Trust contracts register, ensuring timely contract reviews, delivering value for money, and supporting the development of procurement policies and processes. The post holder may manage staff within the department and provide guidance to colleagues.
