Overview

Procurement Category Manager – Indirect Services

Office HQ: Hertfordshire (3 days a week)

Salary: Up to £60,000 + 20% Bonus & additional benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join a globally recognised brand leading the way in operational excellence across their industry.

This role offers the chance to drive large scale procurement strategies across one of the business’s highest value spend areas. You’ll lead end to end sourcing, contract management, and category strategy for a complex and business critical portfolio, including agency labour and security services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver procurement strategies across labour and outsourced services
  • Manage multi-million-pound tenders and contract negotiations
  • Build trusted supplier partnerships while ensuring performance, compliance, and value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership to deliver on business priorities
  • Drive innovation, efficiency, and ethical sourcing standards (including modern slavery audits)
  • Work on category plans and transformation projects with international and subsidiary business units
Ideal Background
  • Proven experience in procurement of Labour services and Facility Management
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Track record of delivering savings, driving sustainability, and leading large sourcing events
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail, distribution, or service-based environment is advantageous
  • Comfortable operating at pace in a matrix organisation
