We're working with a leading FMCG business in Northamptonshire who are looking for a Procurement Manager to take the lead on sourcing, supplier management, and margin protection across a fast-paced, perishable category.

The role:
Managing key supplier relationships in the UK and internationally
Negotiating terms, ensuring quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness
Working cross-functionally with commercial, technical, and logistics teams
Forecasting volumes and prices, helping the business stay ahead in a volatile market
Keeping a close eye on market trends, currency impacts, and seasonality

Essential candidate criteria:
Proven experience in a procurement or buying role - 3+ years - ideally in fresh produce or food manufacturing
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Commercial awareness and data-savvy thinking
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to supply chain challenges
Passion for the food industry and an interest in how things grow!
