Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Batch processing experience would be advantageous.
  • Extensive fault-finding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate within documentation procedures ensuring safety and quality.
  • Identify quality defects and escalate issues as necessary.

Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing candidate to join our fast paced, dynamic team in Bottlepack Filling. The primary purpose of this role is to setup, maintain and run the production line in the safest highest quality and most efficient and effective way. The role has the highest level of autonomy often working with complex equipment and processes and requires the incumbent to liaise with areas outside of direct responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements. This includes raise EHS observation cards
  • Operate within the Baxter documentation procedures (BaxU) and requirements meeting all safety quality and performance guidelines.
  • Role Identifies quality defects and reject them and make appropriate corrections. Escalating issues to the team leader as / when required only.
  • Role maintains the optimum area performance throughout the shift ensuring all equipment is in full working order and available
  • Role performs daily and weekly cleaning of the equipment and the area
  • Role is actively involved in improvement programs and adopts new ways of working, often contributing to developing them.
  • Role trains others as required / identified by team leader
  • Role holder must be able to fulfill physical requirements needed to carry out job related tasks meeting Performance and Quality Requirements
  • Role holder is required to use Manual Handling Equipment eg FLT/EPT etc to collect and deliver materials required for the areas of operation in a timely manner often with high level of autonomy
  • Role interacts with support departments including maintenance, Quality, Warehouse & packing room as appropriate

Compensation & Shift

This role is rotating shifts between Monday - Sunday, 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00 which is 42hrs per week. This could look like 3 days on, 4 day off, 2 nights on, 3 days off etc. You will receive a competitive salary which will increase once fully trained and a weekly shift allowance of £105.63 plus further fantastic benefits listed below.
